A week in review

It's actually been quite quiet on the whole considering the first week of summer break has started so here's some highlights.

Kristina was given her YW medallion AND bee during Sacrament on Sunday. She was almost finished the whole thing last summer but the program changed so she has been working away on the new requirements and is happy as a clam to have that all completed. The new necklaces and bee are very pretty. She also has the new bookmark and all the ribbons. We are so proud of her hard work.

Girls Camp is coming up soon and I am one of the cabin moms. They are doing a Survivors theme and our YW are  New Zealand. Tuesday evening they worked on their main flag. Much giggling ensued as face painting for photographs was done. Kris opted for a Kiwi in a star.

Nik is working away on his badges for camp. He has to finish up a few from last year and complete some pre-requisites for this year. Hopefully everything will be done by the end of summer so he can wrap up everything for pre Eagle Scout requirements.
We had fun with cub scouts at our house on Wednesday evening. They needed a place to have their meeting due to some last minute problems and so we were happy to oblige. It's been a while since we have had a lot of little kids racing around in our back yard. Lots of fun.
Between the mini scouts, baby sitting and going to a baby shower I guess you could say this has been our week for the little people
