Yesterday was somewhat different. The news from my mother-in-law about John's cousin Clarence dying because of an accidental shooting was a tough start to the day. Our extended family is dealing with various degrees of shock, sadness and disbelief. Our two oldest live not far from their great-aunt and cousins.
There was a company meeting at John's work in which they were all told the company would be giving everyone a "temporary" 10% pay cut, their 401K's would not be getting a company match, everyone with rollover vacation time has to use it this quarter or lose it and some other stuff. At least this time round there appears to be no lay-offs.
The rest of the day was good thank goodness.
